Well, hello there friend! Welcome to Crazy Inspired Life. I am here to inspire you. You see, ever since I was a little girl, I just wanted to make pretty things. I remember sitting in my room tucked away for hours either drawing, making mood boards or inventing stuff. When I was not in my room, you could find me in the kitchen making dinner for the family with a recipe that my mother left out on the counter. After high school, I dreamed of going to art school, but after heavy discouragement, I pursued a degree in business and started out in the rat race of life. I put away my yearning for creativity and authenticity and just conformed to what I thought people in my life expected of me. I spent long hours going from promotion to promotion being left exhausted and empty. It was not until shortly after I had my daughter that I knew it was time to leave corporate America.
For years I lived as a closet entrepreneur tucking away big ideas and dreams in what my husband called my “banker box” ideas that only lived and breathed in my mind. I just could not find the confidence to jump off and just take a big risk by starting my own company. Well, in 2005, I finally did it! Over the course of the next 10 years of my life, I started a paper crafting company, launched a jewelry line, tried my hand as an artist and started teaching cooking classes. It was during this time when I finally realized how much I needed to create. It fueled me in a way that I just felt complete inside.
I believe that we all are born to create, and my passion is sharing my creativity with others. On these pages I want to inspire you with delicious, healthy recipes, creative DIY art projects, give you some great health tips and just inspire you to connect with others, but especially yourself. I am so excited to share this creative journey of exploration with you. Together, we will find inspiration in everyday moments that will not only change our lives, but the lives of others.
